De-Stressing is a top priority for a lot of people in these times of unprecedented transformations in culture as well as big changes in daily lives.

Here’s my unique recipe for de-stressing with trees, or you can do indoors in this early spring season with a houseplant:

  1. Close Observation. Select a tree or plant and view it from afar then up close. What do you see? What do you feel?
  2. Appreciation. You may feel affection, or you may feel compassion, empathy, or sympathy if the tree or plant seems to have some ailment. But, focus on something to appreciate about it.
  3. Breathe for Inner Quiet. Turn off devices. Pause and breathe. You may use whatever method you like to quiet yourself.
  4. Find out what the tree’s or plant’s life is like. This is a step of curiosity because you are coming from the plant’s point of view. You may begin by simply looking around. Put yourself imaginatively “in its roots”. You are getting the know it in a deeper way than ever before.
  5. Mutual Exchange of Messages. Here, your heart-based intuitive and perceptive abilities kick in. You may receive information from the tree or plant. You may give it a message of love or caring.

Then, jot down some notes about your experience. You’ll probably find that you are calm, peaceful, de-stressed. And more than that, you will likely have a beautiful message from the Plant Kingdom that you’ll want to remember.

Now let’s go a step further.

A common way to de-stress is to take a walk in the woods. There is a growing body of scientific evidence that immersing one’s self in the beauty of a tree’d environment is really good for a person’s well-being, health, emotional state, and spiritual upliftment. I whole-heartedly agree.

So, we often go into a park or forest to receive healing of some kind, BUT WHAT DO WE GIVE BACK?

Yes, we feel appreciation, gratitude, even love for those trees and plants. That’s an important heart-based and reciprocal action that does impact the vibration and spirit of those wonderful living beings: The“standing ones.”

Yes, we consult them in our hearts about troubling questions in our lives. Through open intuitive connection, we receive wise personal, spiritual, and even sometimes cosmic replies.

But, do we ever extend the common reply: “I’m fine. How are you?” Most people in this culture don’t know that just because a tree is green, doesn’t mean that it’s healthy on the inside.

The sad truth is that climate extremes and human interferences are causing decline in tree, plant, crop, forest, and ecosystem health globally. Many solutions make sense: plant more trees, reduce development, cut carbon emissions. Many solutions don’t make sense: prune, fertilize, add chemicals, and more.

People can forge a MUTUAL relationship with trees and plants. People can GIVE BACK. People can intuitively and spiritually bond with the Life Force of Nature Beings right in their own backyards. And then, they can learn to consciously collaborate and pro-actively give special mindful healing methods to trees and Nature Beings that have lost inner functionality from climate extremes and/or human interferences.

There are 3 things that people don’t know that they don’t know:

  1. Trees and plants have parts, systems and inner functions that need to be operating in sync, in balance, and in harmony. Just like in people’s health.
  2. A unique form of energy medicine called “Tree Whispering®” interacts with the bioenergy of parts, systems, functions, and interplays in the consciousness or spirit of trees and plants to heal their compromised internal functionality from the inside-out.
  3. Anyone can learn and use such simple mindful methods effectively. Our recommended “Tree Whispers” are botanically accurate, physiologically targeted, and spirit-directed. They provide a higher vibration that goes above and beyond the wonderful love and caring you already offer to trees and plants.

So, that’s how people can “give back” to trees and plants during a healing walk in the woods. Trees are the most generous of beings and will always send their love and energies to you. That’s why tree-hugging is so popular. When they are sick, stressed or in decline, they need a little help from their human friends.

Once on the road to recovery, a re-energized tree or plant can meet its own inner goals and becomes re-empowered to provide the ecosystem services that humans need. When people GIVE healing messages they RECEIVE healing energies from strengthened and revitalized trees and other Beings of Nature. It’s only fair and polite to do MUTUAL HEALING.

I believe that when people feel the beautiful and magnetic pull into the MUTUAL give-and-take, two-way-street-kind-of restorative relationships with trees and other Beings of Nature, they will know truth, experience trust, and become empowered in the skills to both survive and co-create a thriving future on a livable planet.  It’s all done TOGETHER in give-and-take mutual PARTNERSHIPS with the Plant Kingdom.

What’s the future we can create out of these stressful times? People’s lives are healed: they experience hope and become empowered. Trees and plants meet their own goals for themselves and are strengthened to help humanity. Ecological damage can be reversed and the planet will become livable again.

Educational videos at my YouTube channel @PartnerWithNature are full of insights from me and opportunities for you to de-stress by taking virtual walks with big, old, even champion, and other amazing trees that I personally know and love.

My partner, Jim Conroy, Phd Plant Pathology and TheTreeWhisperer.com offers on-site and distance services to heal the internal functionality of stressed and declining trees, plants, crops, forests, and large tracts of land. His unique healing methods work from the inside-out (not based on the outside-in thinking of product-use), are multidimensional and effective. He is currently accepting applications from potential clients.

Our online school, BioBaliaInstituteSchool.org has many no-cost or low-cost introductory courses available. Stay tuned for the announcement of the BioBalia Mystery Academy that will offer advanced collaborative ecological healing courses.
