Why Study Feng Shui?
Feng Shui has become popular in recent years because people intuitively know they are affected by their physical surroundings. Why do you feel and function your best in certain environments and just the opposite in others? Understanding these principles can create homes, places of business and community spaces that support the individual and society as a whole.

The Pyramid philosophy of feng shui offers a western approach to feng shui integrating the symbols, beliefs and values of western cultures while incorporating the ancient tenets of feng shui.

FSIA's "pyramid" philosophy identifies feng shui as an information system that reveals how a home or workplace can affect health, relationships and self-actualization. “We feel that our experiences in life cannot be isolated from the language of our environment,” says Nancilee Wydra. “The thread separating us from many other species is the cognition of our own condition”. The pyramid philosophy taught in our courses and practiced by our graduates explores that relationship of how "person connects to place" and how "that place communicates messages to the person".

The FSIA offers continuing education and advanced training topics to those graduates wishing to delve deeper into the science of human response to physical space that includes the study of: behavioral neuroscience, psycho-social factors in ergonomics; molecular cell biology, building biologie, human response to color, lighting, clutter, shapes and architectural features.

FSIA also has a strong faculty training program that provides a career path to graduates who want to move to a dedicated pursuit of Pyramid school Master’s status.

FSIA offers distance learning certification programs, accelerated class room courses, mini/preparatory courses, training CDs, from recorded advanced training sessions and soon-to-be offered personal development programs.
