As we celebrate the harvest, we gather with family and friends to enjoy the
bounty that the earth has provided us. This is a time for thanks and gratitude,
a time when we look at our lives and give thanks for the many blessings we have.

Jade At this time
of Thanksgiving I like to place green stones in the earth around my house. A good
stone to use is Jade. Jade was believed to have power over the weather
and to bring about rain or snow. In China, Jade is believed to add vitality.
As I place these stones in the ground, I pray that the rains and snow through
the coming winter months will fortify the earth and guaranty another healthy harvest
next year. | | When
preparing to share holiday meals with my friends and family, I like to bring pink
stones into the décor. Pink stones, such as Pink Quartz or Lepidolite
(which is sometimes more lavender in color); promote peace, calming, happiness
and laughter. I like to add Pink Quartz to the centerpiece on my dining
room table. In this way, we are sure to have an enjoyable time with friends and
relatives as we reminisce or share our dreams for the coming year. Jewelry made
