Remember, one of the most profoundly healing aspects of nature is the presence of color.
Take all your designs very personal. Listen and Look for your clients needs.
Ask your clients what emotions they would like to feel in their space. Examples could be quiet, energized, and relaxed. Pair the emotional wish list with your ba gua and 5 elements for color choices and use the hues that best fit into personalizing their environment and activate their Intentions. Their choice of words expresses an elemental choice, listen carefully.

Find yourself stating that you have nothing to wear, yet you have a closet and drawers full of clothes? Well, as of late, this is how I was feeling and now I see why. I've been spending the majority of my days/month in sweat pants, so the idea of getting dressed up felt foreign to my body.
Today's weather of surprise snow, gave me just the jolt that I needed to really take a look at my wardrobe. In going through my clothes, I found the best way to determine whether or not to keep or discard the article, was to try it on. And what does one do when they are trying on clothes, they look in a mirror. With music playing in the background, I found myself creating all sorts of fun outfits from head to toe or creating my very own fashion show. Sometimes, it may just be a change of shoes that makes all the difference.

French Soaps - Savon de Marseille
Savon de Marseille, the legendary French soap was officially protected under French law in 1688. Under the strict guidelines, in order to be marked with the famous appellation a soap must contain certain quantities of vegetable oils and no animal fats. France's humble "household soap" has since gained world fame for its quality and gentle care.
The company French Soaps still produces Savon De Marseille entirely by hand, without machines, just as they've been made since the Middle Ages.
Their soaps are mixed in antique cauldrons, poured into open pits, pushed through manual wire cutters and hand-stamped with ancient stamps passed from fathers to sons. The result is a soap that is softer, smoother, gentler, REAL.

A Stairway to Heaven - Loretto Chapel

A recent visit to Santa Fe, New Mexico included a visit to the Loretto Chapel, home of the miracle staircase. Yes, I paid my $3.00 to get in and see what it was all about.
It was worth it ! The Church is a magnificent example of gothic architecture, the first in the country built by architects from France. The staircase is a standing testimony to sacred geometry, symmetry, miracles, and beauty.
There are two mysteries that surround the spiral staircase in the Loretto Chapel: One is the mystery of the staircase builder and the other is the mystery of the physics of its construction.
The Story unfolds:
The Sisters of Loretto, brought to Santa Fe by Bishop Lamy to teach the people, needed a school and a chapel.
In 1872 Jean-Baptiste Lamy, the Bishop of the Santa Fe Archdiocese, commissioned the building of the infamous chapel for the Sisters of Loretto. The Gothic Revival style design was facilitated by a French architect named Antoine Mouly. The magnificent stained glas windows were imported from France. Although the Loretto Chapel is much smaller , it resembles the Sainte-Chapelle in Paris.

Bleeding Heart
The beautiful and beloved Bleeding Heart (Dicentra spectabilis) is a symbol of undying love.
The botanical name - Dicentra,- from the Greek means "two spurs," and spectabilis that meaning "worthy of notice," or "spectacular," which this plant certainly is.
The Pacific Northwest species has a medicinal value. It can be applied as a root tincture or hot compress to help with pain relief, applied externally to bruises and sprains. Internally, the tincture of bleeding heart is used to help soothe frazzled nerves, especially related to a shock or traumatic experience.

A child can stand perfectly still and observe a honey bee gathering nectar from flowers that gently wave in the summer breeze. Most of us don't know how to relax. We forgot how to just stop and watch the world around us. We swat and the annoyances that once held us captivated.

Upper Delaware most endangered US river
Associated Press
ALBANY, N.Y. - An advocacy group seeking tighter governmental control of natural gas drilling put the Upper Delaware River at the top of its annual list of the nation's 10 most endangered rivers, citing gas exploration in the surrounding region.
American Rivers said in a report released Tuesday that the Delaware watershed along the New York-Pennsylvania border is threatened by hydraulic fracturing, or "fracking," which injects millions of gallons of water mixed with chemicals to stimulate gas wells.
Drillers have leased thousands of acres in the watershed, which supplies drinking water to millions of people in New York, New Jersey and Pennsylvania.
"Unless we stop the threat of rampant shale fracking, the drinking water for 17 million people across the Northeast will be threatened by toxic pollution," said Rebecca Wodder, president of Washington, D.C.-based American Rivers.
